We're excited to announce the success of our third annual "Serving for Pat" fundraiser, which raised more than $16,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America to provide support and care to children everywhere.
“We’re incredibly proud to contribute to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America,” said Angela Heiden, Mortgage Sales Manager at Simplicity CU. “This donation reflects the caring spirit of our community and our members.”
This year's event was held on September 7th at Sceeter & Otis' Village Inn in Hewitt. Participants enjoyed a volleyball tournament and baggo with top prizes of $300 and $150. The day brought more than 250 attendees, who also enjoyed Bingo, raffle prizes, and a 50/50 raffle. A total of seven teams competed in volleyball, while eight teams participated in baggo.
Ben Bauer, Executive Director of Exclamation, emphasized the team effort required to make the event a success, “We’re so grateful to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported Serving for Pat this year. It's a meaningful way to honor Pat's legacy and bring our community together.”
Plans are already underway for the fourth annual Serving for Pat event, scheduled for Saturday, August 16th, 2025. Community members, local businesses, and past participants are all invited to join in on the fun!
