Friends, heroes are not just something to watch on the movie screen, we see them Every. Single. Day.
From the Teachers standing in the wind and the rain and the cold to make sure the kids are making it into school safe and sound, to the Doctors, Nurses, Police, Firefighters, and EMTs that work long hours while we’re sound asleep, to the members of the Military, past and present, who risked their lives to protect us all, they are out there, all of the time, making the world better.
That’s why we’re SO EXCITED to announce that Simplicity CU has joined the Homes for Heroes program.
What is Homes for Heroes?
We’re glad you asked.
Homes for Heroes was founded in Minnesota by a family of Real Estate professionals with a mission to bring together Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, and other businesses to serve others. Along with their nationwide network of Affiliates (Like Simplicity CU!) they offer real savings for the Heroes in our communities when they Buy, Sell, and Refinance their home.
Who are the Heroes?
Qualifying heroes include, but aren’t limited to, current and former firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, law enforcement and all other first responders. All ranks of active military, reserves, and veterans of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. All nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals. Also, Pre-K, elementary, secondary and post-secondary teachers.
What can they save?
Simplicity CU offers $500 off closing costs for qualified Homes for Heroes participants, and that’s not all!
On average, Heroes save as much as $2400 overall when they work with a Homes for Heroes Lender, Real Estate Specialist, Title Company, and Inspector. That savings really adds up!
So far, Homes for Heroes and their Affiliates have helped 24,923 Heroes save more than $39.5 Million!!
