TurboTax® Giveaway Rules and Regulations
*No purchase necessary. (1) Description of Giveaway – Simplicity Credit Union (the “Sponsor”) is offering “$150” (the “Promotion”) and will award prize via a random selection from eligible entrants. The Promotion begins at 12:00AM U.S. Central Standard Time (“CST”) on January 1st, 2025 and ends at 11:59:00 PM CST on April 15th, 2025, (“Promotion Entry Period”). On April 16th, 2025 winner will be randomly selected to win. By participating in the Promotion, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. By participating in the Promotion, participants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Promotion Entities (defined below) from any and all damages whether direct or indirect, which may be due to or arise out of participation in the Promotion or any portion thereof, or the acceptance, use/misuse or possession of prizes.
(2) Eligibility – The Promotion is open only to individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of Entry. Winner must show proof of TurboTax® filing to collect $150. Employees, officers, and directors of Simplicity Credit Union and their immediate families (parent, child, sibling, & spouse) and persons living in the same households of such individuals (whether related or not), (collectively “Promotion Entities”) are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. Void where prohibited by law, rule or regulation. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
(3) How to Participate – Submit this form by April 15th 2025. By entering, you are giving your permission to receive subsequent communication from Simplicity Credit Union. Mechanically reproduced entries will not be accepted. Once submitted, all entries become the property of Simplicity Credit Union and none will be returned.
There is a limit of one (1) Entry per person. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries will void that entrant’s entries and that entrant may be disqualified. Entries that are late will not be eligible.
Individuals may also enter the giveaway by hand printing the words "TurboTax Giveaway 2025" and their full name, address, daytime phone number (including area code), and date of birth on a 3x5 card and mailing it (1 entry per envelope) to: Simplicity Credit Union, Attn: Marketing Department, 222 E Upham St, Marshfield, WI 54449. Mail-In entries must be postmarked no later than March 31st, 2025 and received by April 14th, 2025. Proof of mailing does not constitute proof of delivery.
(4) Prizes – One (1) $150; Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) $150. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received, i.e., if 1,000,000 entries are received the odds of winning are 1:1,000,000.
(5) The winner or their guardian must sign a publicity and/or model release. PUBLICITY AUTHORIZATION – The Credit Union may use winner’s name, likeness and city name for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
