February 2025 - After a lot of years in our current location at 3101 Hoover Road in Stevens Point, we’re ready to unveil our plans to build a new branch office in the Portage County Business Park. This new branch will help us be more accessible and connected to the people we serve in Stevens Point, Plover, and the surrounding areas.
The new Simplicity CU branch will feature a larger lobby, more space for you to meet with our team, and a unique drive-thru that brings true 24/7 account access to our members.
The Simplicity Team is excited to write this new page of our history with you, so have a look at the info we have to share and check back here for updates all year long!

As you can imagine, it'll take a minute to build an awesome new home, so we'll do our best to keep this info up-to-date and keep you in the loop.
So far, we know it will be a lot of work, but it's so totally worth it to make a great place for our Portage County members.

We're planning our move but a lot has to happen (like building a whole building) before we get to welcome you into our new home, so we don't want to jinx it and announce our opening date yet.
It's probably something really cool, but it seems like it's SO FAR in the future... Will there be cake? How about balloons? Maybe. Probably.
We're glad you asked! Our plan is to build a new branch that will make it easier for our members, friends, and neighbors to find us and bring our team together under one roof.

Right now, we’re planning to break ground in March and be fully up and running by Late Fall!

We’ve got you covered! While the move is happening you’ll still have 24/7 access through Online Banking, our PTM (Personal Teller Machine), shared branching, and by phone, text, and email.
We’ll work hard to make the move as seamless as possible, but if there’s any downtime, we’ll keep you in the loop.
You’ll still get the same great service you know and love, plus some upgrades! We’re planning to add PTMs in the drive-thru so you’ll have 24/7 access to your accounts with your debit card.
Plus, we’ll be bringing more of our team together inside the branch for a smoother, more connected experience.
Even though we’re moving our branch, we’re not going anywhere when it comes to supporting Portage County!
